Kitty Fuzz

September 2013 we brought Kitten home from a trip to visit the grandkids in Arizona.
She has been an unending pleasure and delight.

You need to work quietly? Let me sing you the song of my people!

Lounging amid Carmageddon after a visit by the 5 year old

But by far the most ridiculous thing she does is beg for you to turn on the water faucet every time you go into the bathroom.
It starts out normal enough....

But always ends up the same way.
I think it's her favorite part of the whole experience.

The following pictures pretty much sum up Leo's contribution to life in our household.

A Morning with Taylin.

One of the reasons we chose Arizona as a landing point in our journey was so we could see our grandkids who we have had precious little time with.

I now get to enjoy morning like these with my 2 year old granddaughter Taylin.

And finish the day with a nice Hello Kitty cup of milk!

Arizona Bound

Late on the afternoon of July 31st, Jeff and Jeffrey hopped into a 26 foot U-Haul (pulling a 12 foot trailer) and Katherine and I captained the van (complete with cats and an iguana) and we were off on a new adventure in Arizona.

None of us are hoping it's our final landing spot but for the time being it's going to be home.

Make it a Double

You know it's going to be one of those days when you wake up, turn on the computer and can't figure out why several people have posted about Monday when you CLEARLY know that it is Tuesday.
Bartender, coffee...make it a double.

The Squat Challenge

So Thursday Katherine decides she wants to do the squat challenge (like the cinnamon challenge only with less choking and sputtering).
She does 50 squats and feels pretty proud of herself.
Until Thursday night.
The soreness starts to set in.
By Friday she is limping and whining and noting she had better not do that days next challenge of 60 squats.
By this morning she cannot walk and crawled from the bedroom to living room chair.
After I was finished trying to hold in the laughter (yeah I'm nice I know) I helped her start a day long movie marathon.
Footloose (80's version) finished and now she's starting on Born Yesterday (also the 80's version).
I guess I better go see what else I've got because there are lot of hours left in the day and it doesn't look like she's going anywhere.

PSA from the Cleaning Staff

I have felt the need to impart the following notice to any and all teen boys who frequent the hall bathroom.

The order is Look, Aim and then Release..... NOT Aim, Release, Look and Correct.

The janitorial staff thanks you for your consideration in this matter.
